“Fan”tastic Fan Drive Team Makes a Difference

The Health and Human Services Leadership Academy exceeded all expectations (including their own) by raising OVER $7,000 and 92 fans during their month-long drive!

Team representatives came to Family Eldercare offices today to deliver their generous gifts of funds and fans to Fan Drive Coordinator, Melissa Gray.

When asked why their drive was so successful, they cited overwhelming support from the executive and management staff and a little healthy competition. Bake sales, popsicle stands and breakfast tacos were apparently all very popular (and delicious) ways to inspire staff to donate to the Fan Drive!

The Summer Fan Drive continues until the end of August. Forming your own Fan Drive Team for your office, community organization, summer camp, neighborhood association or faith community can be a fun way to grow teamwork while making a huge difference to our campaign to help vulnerable seniors, medically-fragile adults and families beat the heat this summer.
